I Overview of the School
International education is one of the three hallmarks of our college. Since enrollment began in 2007, we have cultivated over 13,000 international students from 113 countries across five continents. For many years, the number of enrolled international students has ranked among the top in the province and the first among similar institutions. In 2022, we were successfully approved as a construction unit of the Zhejiang Provincial Famous Teacher Workshop for National Education for International Students. In 2024, our college passed the first batch of China's Higher Vocational Education Quality Certification for International Students in China with excellent results, obtaining a 6-year certification validity period.
In 2011, our college was authorized to establish a Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) test center. To date, more than 2,700 candidates from around the world have taken the test. Our college is the first HSK test center in China to be established at the county level.
The number of international students at our college receiving the Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students, Yiwu Municipal Government Scholarship for International Students, and Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College Scholarship for International Students has been increasing year by year.
The college's program design aligns with the institution's positioning of ‘Rooted in Yiwu, Serving the Region, Reaching out to the World’. Focusing on the goal of cultivating globally-minded business talents who know, support, and love China, and in response to local socio-economic development needs, we promote the standardization of program construction, optimization of curriculum systems, and enrichment of course resources, forming a distinctive program development feature of "International Vision, Chinese Essence, Yiwu Characteristics".

V Application requirements
1.Hold a senior high school diploma or equivalent (or higher) and be between 18 and 30 years of age (excluding holders of Chinese senior high school or Chinese senior high school international division diplomas).
2.Be a foreign citizen who does not hold Chinese nationality according to the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China and holds a valid ordinary passport. For applicants who acquired foreign nationality at birth outside China, and whose parents were both Chinese citizens, or one parent was a Chinese citizen at the time of birth: the Chinese citizen parent(s) must have obtained permanent residency abroad before the applicant's birth, and the applicant must have a record of actually residing abroad for at least 2 years between April 30, 2022 and April 30, 2026 (9 months of actual residence abroad in a year counts as one year, based on entry and exit stamps).
3.Be in good physical and mental health, meeting the medical examination requirements for applying for a visa or residence permit to China. Have sufficient financial means to support normal study and living at the college.
4.Have no record of administrative penalties or criminal acts. Abide by Chinese laws, regulations, and college rules. Be friendly towards China, of good character, and respect Chinese customs and traditions.
5.Applicants who have not yet graduated at the time of application must provide a pre-graduation certificate and must obtain the corresponding diploma or relevant proof of education before enrollment at the latest.
6.Applicants must be first-time international students coming to study in China, without a prior history of long-term study in China as an international student.
VI Application steps
1. Log in to the International Student Information Management System of Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College before June 30, 2026. Application website: http://sie.ywicc.edu.cn/Account/Login/
2. Click to register and create a personal account using a valid email address (please note: this email will be a key channel for subsequent admission-related communications; ensure accuracy; using a commonly used Chinese email address is recommended).
3. Upload the required application materials as instructed.
4. Save and submit the application.
5. Wait for the preliminary review result.
6. After passing the preliminary review, the college will send a psychological assessment link via email. Complete and pass the psychological assessment.
7. After passing the psychological assessment, the college will send a payment link for the application fee via email. Pay the application fee as required.
8. After the application fee is paid, the college will send electronic versions of the "Admission Notice", "Visa Application for Study in China (JW202 Form)", and other relevant documents via email.
9. Apply for a study visa to China at the Chinese embassy or consulate in your home country using the "Admission Notice" and "Visa Application for Study in China (JW202 Form)".
10. After obtaining the visa, book international flights in advance and complete the registration procedures on campus strictly according to the registration date specified in the "Admission Notice". Failure to register on time will be considered a waiver of admission.
VII Application materials
1. Recent color passport-style photo taken within the last six months (size ≤200KB, pixels >295*413).
2. Copy of the information page of your valid ordinary passport (valid until at least July 31, 2028; current students in China must also provide a copy of the valid visa page).
3. Senior high school diploma. Current year graduates may provide a pre-graduation certificate.
4. Scanned copy of the complete academic transcript for the entire senior high school period.
5. Financial guarantee letter.
6. Certificate of No Criminal Conviction (issued no more than 6 months prior to application submission).
7. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (medical examination date must be within 6 months prior to application submission).
8. Personal statement (within 1000 words, including personal study and work experience, reasons for applying, and personal strengths).
9. Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College International Student Application Form.
10. Anti-Drug Pledge.
11. Other supporting documents as required by the college.
Note: Any forms, documents, and certificates included in the application materials must be in Chinese or English. If issued in another language, a notarized Chinese or English translation must be provided. When uploading, place the translation before the original document and combine them into a single PDF file.

Charging method: The charging currency is RMB; All fees are charged in a lump sum based on the academic year.

A:Currently, the school does not provide dormitory for international students temporarily, and students need to live off campus.

A: After completing the first academic year of study, the School will evaluate each student's overall academic performance and conduct to determine whether they are qualified to advance to the next level. Students approved for promotion will be informed of the registration and payment deadline by their relevant teachers at the end of the semester.

A: Yes, the student can go to the School of International Education to apply for the study certificate and academic certificate.
